Boo at the Zoo Halloween Event Returns to Brevard Zoo in Melbourne, Florida in October

Boo at the Zoo, Brevard Zoo’s popular family Halloween event, is moving from night to day to accommodate social distancing needs. It is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on October 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, 25 and 31. Boo at the Zoo is sponsored by Avtec Homes, and all activities are included with general Zoo admission and free for members.

“This year’s event is going to look very different, but there will still be plenty of festive fall fun to be had by all,” said Andrea Hill, the Zoo’s director of marketing and communications. “Most importantly, we haven’t forgotten about the candy!”

Guests are encouraged to wear costumes. Attractions include activities along the Monarch Migration Trail, a scavenger hunt throughout the Zoo, themed photo opportunities, music and the opportunity to view all of the Zoo’s animals. A complimentary bag of candy will be provided to all children ages 12 and younger upon exit.

Reach thousands of people throughout Central Florida.

Boo at the Zoo is also supported by Slug-A-Bug, Brevard County Firefighters Local 2969, Doug Hambel’s Plumbing, Roswell Marine, Rockledge Regional Medical Center, Whittaker Cooper, Phantom Products, Richard’s Paint, Biomat USA and Wharton-Smith, Inc.
